The 2023 Dodge Hornet concept is the future of Dodge vehicles. This is the very first generation of the Hornet for 2023, and it’s making its debut with a bang. The Hornet is currently available as the GT and GT Plus, while the R/T and R/T Plus trims are coming soon. The GT and GT Plus share many standard features, including dual-zone automatic climate control, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ smartphone integration, a Uconnect® infotainment system, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen.
Some standard safety equipment includes blind-spot and rear cross-traffic warnings, forward collision warnings, adaptive cruise control, rear parking sensors, and lane keep assist. The GT Plus includes more comfort features, such as a power liftgate and a sunroof, a heated steering wheel, a 14-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and an integrated navigation system.
The R/T, available soon, includes similar features, plus 18-inch wheels, Brembo performance brakes, all-wheel drive, and a plug-in hybrid powertrain. The R/T Plus has several optional packages to choose from, including the Blacktop Package, the Tech Pack, and the Track Pack.

This engine is combined with a nine-speed automatic transmission and generates 268 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque. The R/T, coming soon, is a high-performance hybrid and includes a PHEV system that can launch the Hornet to speeds of over 125 miles per hour. The Hornet is an all-wheel drive SUV and can tow up to 2,000 pounds.
